Decision

Decision of the Information Commissioner, Slovenia, 021-21/2006/2, January 2007

On the 22nd January 2007 the Information Commissioner, Republic of Slovenia, published an English language version of the decision published on the 14th August 2006.

The findings of the investigation undertaken following receipt of two appeals and a complaint (021-21/2006/2) received from an unnamed private company versus The Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia.

The Information Commissioner combined the two separate appeals dated 7th March 2006 and 26th April 2006 into one case.

Appeal Outline

Following the decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia regarding the re-use of court information and the public companies register the private company appealed to the Information Commissioner.

Key Dates:

The key dates in this case are:

Outcome

The Commissioner has upheld the decision of The Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia No. Su 36-03/2005-32 dated 1st March 2006.

The Commissioner has annulled the decision of The Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia No. Su 36-03/2006-46-2 dated 12th April 2006. The applicant is allowed to reuse the data from the company register.
