The ePSIplus ‘Thematic’ meetings will bring together leading experts to discuss topical issues involving participants from the public and private sectors from throughout Europe and elsewhere promoting dialogue and discussion about Pubic Sector Information (PSI) re-use issues from varied perspectives.
Each meeting will build upon discussions from prior meetings and discuss latest developments across all themes.
Recommendations and findings from the Thematic Meetings were utilised in preparing the ePSIplus ‘Recommendations and Supporting Evidence’ presented to the European Commission’s 2008 consultation and review of the PSI Directive. They will continue to be used in evidence gathering to work toward the Directive 2003/98/EC meeting its objectives.
Thematic meetings are taking place between February 2007 to February 2009.
Corresponding to each of the meetings, a comprehensive meeting report on discussions, latest developments and recommendations will be published on the ePSIplus Web Portal.
