Proceedings of the Conference: PSI Re-use – Who takes action next? published

London: 2 October 2008

The proceedings (73 pages) of the ePSIplus Thematic Network Conference titled: PSI Re-use – Who Takes Action Next? have been published. The conference took place on the 13 June 2008 with the objective of testing the draft recommendations with the networks stakeholders prior to finalising them and submitting to the European Commission. The process followed prior to the 13 June, at the Conference and post conference have been outlined within the proceedings.

The Conference Proceedings include the final recommendations together with supporting evidence that was submitted to the European Commissions consultation as part of the review process of the Directive 2003/98/EC.

The ePSIplus Thematic Network thanks all the stakeholders that have contributed to the process that led up to the finalising of the recommendations.

The Conference did not signal an end to ePSIplus Thematic Network activities. The ePSIplus Thematic Network has a busy schedule of meetings, evidence gathering that will continue well into the first quarter of 2009. As the Conference proceedings indicate there is much still to be done to ensure that Directive 2003/98/EC meets its objectives.
