Norway defers

Norway defers the implementation of the new FOI Act that implements the Directive 2003/98/EC until July 2008

Oslo: 14 January 2008

Norway has implemented the re-use of public information directive in the new Freedom of Information Act. The new law was due to come into effect on the 1st January 2008 together with new freedom of information regulations. The date when the new Act comes into effect has been rescheduled to 1st July 2008.
